How to play Caro
Caro (also known as Gomoku) is a classic five-in-a-row board game. Players take turns placing marks on empty intersections of the grid. The first player to form an unbroken line of five marks—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally—wins the round.

Tips
- Build open fours (four in a row with space on both ends)—they are hard to block in one move.
- Watch for forks: two threats created at once usually force a win.
- Block your opponent’s four-in-a-row immediately, even if you wanted to extend your own line.
- Control the center early so your lines can grow in more directions.
